Chubby Vase

This ceramic vase is handcrafted using a mixture of local clay, and is wheelthrown and glazed on the inside. The final color and texture are achieved through the unique combination of clays and the heat of the kiln fire, making it ideal for Japandi homes.

Please note:
This type of ceramic has different percentages of earths and clays in order to “pigment” the paste without the need to apply a colored glaze. The materials reacts directly to contact with fire, the heat influences the intensity of color that each piece can have and sometimes there are variations even in the same batch, which is why in a single finish there can be a wide range of tones.
