Enhance any Japandi room with these stunning baskets, perfect for adding a personal, artisanal feel. Beautiful alone or filled with dried plants, the smaller baskets make elegant centerpieces or shelf accents, while the larger ones create a focal point in a corner, by a bed, or next to a credenza. For a more impactful look, display them together in varying sizes.
These unique Garlic Sculptural Baskets are handcrafted by Ndebele tribe women in rural Bulawayo, Zimbabwe using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations. Made entirely of Ilala palm leaves, each basket is one of a kind, with its own unique pattern and shape. The weavers gather under large trees, connecting with their community and infusing their personal touch into each basket.
Measuring Note:
The baskets are measured using a soft tape measure. The tape is run from the center of the base of the basket, around the curve of the bowl, then up the neck. Because of the wide variety of shapes of these baskets, the measurement is a CONTOUR measurement, not a straight LxWxH.
