A lovely, strong and stable objet d’art designed for use as a table or an ottoman, KINA was designed for CondeHouse in 2017 by David Trubridge of New Zealand and displayed in an exhibit at the ICF NYC in 2018.This ellipsoid furniture made of Japanese birch consists of 22 arc-shape parts for size 80 ; 24 for size 100. The curve and grid of each piece are molded and cut by machine; polished and oil-coated by hand due to its complex shape. The combination of advanced technology and human skills results in this beautiful product. It’s something that you not only use but also enjoy by looking at.

An eco-friendly material, approximately half of which is produced in Portugal. Cork is made from the tree bark of cork oak. It is a recyclable and waste-free natural
material that can be obtained without cutting trees down because it’s made from residue from producing wine stoppers, etc.
